In June, the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association/Canadian Insurance Claims Mangers Association (CIAA/CICMA) held their annual joint conference at White Point Beach Resort.  As part of their yearly conference, members of CIAA/CICMA make a donation to a worthwhile charity.  This past year they lost a great supporter and friend of the event, Michael Dunphy, QC.  To honor his memory, the CIAA/CICMA collectively raised $10,000 to donate to KidSport Nova Scotia, an organization near and dear to him.  Pictured is Michael’s daughter Kelly Michelin, his wife Sheila Dunphy, Grant King (CIAA) and Karen Foster (CICMA) presenting the cheque to Colin Gillis, KidSport Coordinator.
