As CIAA continues striving to engage and leverage thought leadership with a common focus on strategic issues of importance with respect to the future of claims, CIAA National President, John Jones is pleased to make the following announcement:  “We are pleased to announce the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (CIAA) and the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) will be working together to identify possible areas for collaboration that will bring mutual benefit to both organizations and the insurance industry.  We have discussed some potential initiatives for 2020, and details will be forthcoming in the next few months”.  Peter Braid, CEO of IBAC, says “Brokers and Adjusters play important roles in the insurance sector.  We look forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate with CIAA where our interests align, with the goal of ensuring consumers are well served.”
